Wonderful Days in Vosteni

Starting with a warm welcome from Denis, who gave us lots of tips for our vacation, we spent 14 wonderful days in Istria. Even on the cold days, Denis made things cozy by providing extra wood for the wonderful open fireplace. Eggs from the neighbor, a konoba serving local specialties (ham, pasta, and truffles), olive oil and wine from Denis and a nearby distillery treated us to a culinary feast. Such warm hospitality is rare to find. The property itself is charming and beautifully furnished in every detail—from the washing machine to the kitchen. A large pool with crystal-clear water rounds out the picture. So—the four of us (two couples) felt very much at home.

Fabulous villa, fabulous friendly hosts. Very peaceful location and close to the beautiful towns on the north coast. Super comfortable beds. Lovely well stocked kitchen and plenty of seating in the living room and the outdoor patio area for sunbathing and eating. Could not fault it at all!

The hosts also own the olive oil museum in Skrip which is a short walk away.; honestly the best lunch we had on the island! (homemade, farm to table, locally sourced food – absolutely delicious!). We enjoyed the short tour of the museum and lunch was so good we went back a few days later.

Would highly recommend and would absolutely return if we go back to beautiful Brac!
