We had an incredible stay at Villa Katina (aka Villa Ana) on Hvar island and would recommend it without hesitation. The villa is even more impressive in person than in the photos. It is beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, and offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic.

The outdoor space was the highlight of our trip. The pool, beach, comfortable seating areas, and outdoor dining space made it easy to spend entire days relaxing with family and friends. The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet just a short walk to Sućuraj, where you’ll find charming restaurants, beaches, and everything you need to enjoy the eastern side of Hvar. The town is really an amazing throw back to the past and a great escape from the rest of the world.

The villa was exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every bedroom was spacious, the common areas were perfect for gathering, and the attention to detail throughout the property was outstanding.

What truly set Villa Katina apart was the hospitality. The hosts were warm, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience. They were always available with recommendations and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Our stay at this villa was fantastic. It is a beautiful villa that fully lives up to the description on the website. Communication was excellent, and the check-in and check-out process with the host on site was smooth and well organized.

If we were to be very critical, we would have just two small suggestions for the owner. The jacuzzi is located underneath a tree, which means it can sometimes look a little untidy because of leaves and debris. In addition, the air conditioning units seem to be slightly undersized for a house of this size. During the hottest days, it is noticeable that they struggle to keep the entire house cool.

Apart from these two minor points, our stay was truly a five-star experience. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa to others.
